ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Adopting a rescued dog it is only one step in their journey. Our resources have assisted in their care and many times in their recovery and now upon their adoption, you are continuing this journey. Funds from your adoption donation are used to help offset the cost of rescuing them. We receive no support from governmental agencies and all our expenses are paid for through donations. Each adoption donation only covers a small portion of what it takes to rescue one dog. Your support of Labs and More allows us to save one more dog or puppy from the perils each dog waiting to be rescued faces. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescued dog!
The good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible as it is a donation to a Non-Profit 501(c)3 Rescue Organization. Please also check with your employer to see if they will match your donation by providing them your adoption agreement receipt.
YOUR DOG/PUPPY ADOPTION INCLUDES
The cost to rescue just one dog far exceeds the adoption donation. Any additional support or donations are much appreciated and used to rescue additional dogs and puppies.
YOUR ADOPTION JUST SAVED A LIFE! - DOG AND PUPPY DONATIONS
Donations for our rescued dogs are generally $505 for adults and $605 for puppies (save up to $255 on select dogs, see Spring Them Home Adoption Event, below), which includes a refundable required training deposit of $75 (which is done by request after completing a certified training course in the allotted timeframe). The adoption donation includes up-to-date vaccinations, automatically registering microchip, neuter/spay, and any other medical needs from intake with us to date of adoption. All post-adoption medical expenses are the adopter's responsibility.
SPRING THEM HOME ADOPTION EVENT- LIMITED TIME!
Spring is the perfect time to adopt a dog or puppy and we're here to help. Spring forward during our Spring Them Home Adoption Event, and you can take home an adult dog that is already altered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has been recently examined by a vet, plus save $355 off the adoption donation, or $150 for select adults. Only select dog are included, please visit dogs and look for Spring Them Home in the description. Plus, select puppies are included as well, please visit puppies and look for a mention in the description, plus save $305, or donate $300 on these select puppies. Please note, for these select dogs and puppies, there will be no training deposit, but we highly recommend having your new dog or puppy trained. Enjoy your new best friend and these savings now through April 1st.
We provide all needed care for each dog or puppy based on their current conditions and our incredible veterinarian partner recommendations. Please know that unanticipated medical situations can and most likely will occur post-adoption. Once you have rescued your dog any further medical care is the responsibility of the adopting family. Unfortunately, many of our amazing dogs have lived difficult lives prior to being rescued and some of the conditions associated with this can show up at a later date.
We are a rescue made up of all volunteers who care for the dogs you adopt.
