Sweet as sugar, mama Meringue is the whole package! She is around 4 years old and we believe she is a mix of Shepherd, Border Collie and Cattle Dog with feathery golden fur and bat like ears. Meringue came to us pregnant and was a great mama to her puppies who have all since been adopted. Now, it's this precious girl's turn. Meringue is friendly, great with children, and loves all people she meets. She can be a little vocal around other dogs and seems to prefer to be queen of her own castle with all the human attention on her, but does ok with calm, easygoing dogs around her size or larger that give her appropriate space. She has been around cats in her foster home and really wants to chase after them so will need a forever home with no kitties.
Meringue is an easy keeper at home and loves to cuddle. She is housetrained, crate trained and knows her basic commands including Sit, Touch, Gentle and Walk. She has nice house manners and is not much of a barker in the house. She would be fine in an apartment or condo as she is fine with just a few short walks a day. As long as you have squeaky toys, Meringue is a happy girl! If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Meringue, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps.
