Alley was hit by a car one night and was found and taken to a local shelter. Her back right leg was severely broken and even as she wagged her tail and tried to walk to her rescuer, she fell and couldn't. Instead, she laid her head in her lap and let her rescuer gently pet her. She is such a sweet girl in spite of the horrible pain she must have been in. We had her seen by one of our vet surgeons who was able to surgery on her leg and has fully recovered in a foster home. She is around 11 months old and a black Lab mix. Alley is a gangly girl with a very sweet personality but still learning her puppy manners. She is happy, energetic and loves to run and play. She is housetrained and does well sleeping in her crate at night. She is curious about cats, dog friendly and people focused. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Alley, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt.
